December 2023 meeting

Stephanie Shivers with the Village House will present "The Village House and Becoming Trauma Aware."

The Village House is a home owned by Church of the City that provides a warm and inviting setting for supervised visits between kids in foster care and their biological parents. The home also serves as a resting place for kids who are in transition within the foster care system. It provides a place for foster families, Department of Children Services caseworkers, and other treatment providers within the community to connect and receive the needed training to become an approved foster family.

Stephanie is the Village House Administrator, and a TBRI Practitioner.
